Recently purchased HD's LED rear turn/run/brake light for my '10 Electra Glide Classic. Read the installation instructions and it seemed pretty straight forward till I got to installing one of the wires.
Before I get to that, I want to mention an important part. I had installed a LED run/brake fender tip light. Back to the installation. HD said to plug in the brake light wire into what was supposed to be a empty slot in the connector plug. SUPPOSED to be an empty slot! The slot that the wire was supposed to go into has the brake light wire from the fender tip light! In order to connect the turn signal brake light wire, I will have to splice into the fender tip light brake light wire. A little ticked off about it only because HD made it sound so simple! Probably is if you don't have the LED fender light.
Also, HD said to just disconnect the original turn signals from the light bar. Yeah right! I had to disconnect the light bar from the bike because the bolts for the turn signals were impossible to get to. I would also recommend a ball end allen wrench for ease of removing the bolts.
