Intersections

Here are some pics I got from one of my friends on facebook and is a perfect example of what can happen to you if you are not careful at intersections. This is a classic case of a car turning in front of a motorcyclists and the rider not being able to stop. I don't know if anyone survived, but I seriously doubt it.

1 out of every 4 motorcycle accidents happen just like the one in these pictures. Always pay attention and reduce your speed when there are cars or blind spots at any intersection you cross.

    The story that supposedly accompanied these photos are, the motorcyclist was going about 85, the car driver was a young woman who had just gotten her new phone and was texting a friend. Car pulled out. The motorcyclist, driver, and her female passenger died. Looks to me like a real interaction of factors, IMHO.

    I seriously doubt anyone survived this crash. It also seems that texting is the new "drunk driving." Thanks for the info chris.

    I input the information to a browser search, and Snopes provided me with more information. This apparently happened in Sweden in 2003.
